About Us

EVH, as part of our service to employers, provides temporary (never permanent) staff to the social sector throughout Scotland. These temporary vacancies vary in length of contract and can be anything from one week to one year, depending on why the vacancy has arisen (eg sick leave, maternity leave, annual leave…).

Unlike other recruitment businesses, we do not take a percentage of your salary. Instead, we will introduce you to employers, who in turn will employ you directly and put you onto their payroll, ensuring that you get paid the full rate for the job you are doing.

About You

It is essential that you have relevant skills and experience. All posts, other than administration and finance vacancies, require recent housing experience. You can only be registered for vacancies that you have recent experience of. Although housing experience is not essential for administration and finance positions, it is essential that you have gained significant recent relevant experience within another sector. Due to the temporary nature of vacancies that we fill, the successful candidate will be required to start asap, we are therefore unable to register candidates who require to give more than 2 weeks notice.
